| Introduction | Once upon a time I worked as a secretary, living in a village just two miles away from where I'd been born. I juggled job, husband, house and 2 kids. Then one day, it all changed. I moved to Southern California and a whole new world opened up. The pitfalls and privileges of being an ex-pat inspired me to put pen to paper, or at least, fingers to keyboard. I began a blog about our life in Los Angeles, and when that particular bubble burst, we moved to The Netherlands, and the blogging continued. Three years on, and I'm now back in the UK, and ready to start a whole new chapter. |
