Introduction	Hi, welcome to my "Going Fourth" blog. I would like to use this blog as a communication tool, whether it be school related or just fun chit-chat. I am a 1996 graduate of Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. I have a Bachalor of Science degree (K-8), a Reading Endorsement (K-8), and a Middle School Endorsement in Language Arts and Social Studies. This is my seventeenth year of teaching. The majority has been Fifth grade, however, I have also taught First, Third, Fourth, Special Ed., and Title 1 Reading/Math. I married my high school sweetheart forty-two years ago. We have four grown children, superb in-laws, and five beautiful grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, lifting weights, walking trails to bird watch, gardening, and I'm learning how to crochet watching You-Tube. Something many people don't know about me is, I journal nightly, and have the past 41 years. I will do everything possible to have each child succeed. I also feel truly blessed to be teaching Fourth grade. I am positive I have the "best job in the world." My door is always open. Favorite music	Of course, anything '60's, Jazz, Raggae, relaxing Zen music and nothing Country.
Favorite books	I love classics, nature books, and non-fiction.
