Introduction	3 years ago, my husband and I bought a cottage which we thought we'd could just give a bit of an update to and live quite happily in. This turned into a full-scale renovation with lots of stress, money-borrowing, manual labour and many 'discussions'. What we have now is a fully-completed shell that needs total fitting out, and a garden that has been 50% dug up and covered in rubble during the building work! This is the story of how we are now putting it all back together again. The frogs? Well, they were donated by a neighbour. The ferns? They are my favourite plants and are already in the garden. The two crazy dogs? You will meet Frankie and Bobby in my posts and photos. Any gardening advice will be gratefully received!!
Interests	Gardening, dogs, reading, Reiki and other forms of energy work, taking photos, music and dancing, food, being creative and making things. My newest interest since taking on the house is spending as little money as possible, and saving it where I can.
Favorite Movies	The Rocky films (yeah, sorry about that but I think they're great), Maxie, American Beauty, Star Wars Trilogy
Favorite Music	Sarah Maclachlan, The Corrs, and lots more depending on what mood I am in (or what mood I want to be in)
Favorite Books	Any of the Small Country Living books my Jeanine McMullen (I would have loved to hear the radio broadcasts), Last Chance to See, the Green Knowe books by Lucy Boston and my very favourite The Box of Delights by John Masefield (yes I know the last couple are for children but they always take me back somewhere I want to go!)and everything else on my favourites list
