| Introduction | I have over sixteen years experience in the fields of career development, adult education, human resource management, and business development. My many roles have included director/manager, corporate consultant, educator, and career management professional. I've worked hard to make significant differences within the field of career development – locally, nationally, and internationally – through innovative program design, leading-edge education for career practitioners and HR professionals, inspiring facilitation and career coaching, and leadership, consulting, and mentoring throughout the sector. A significant portion of my current work is supporting organizations with their human resource strategies including recruitment, retention, engagement, and development. I am currently completing my PhD in Organizational Systems (also earning a second Master’s degree with a focus on Human Development) where my research interest is the impact of career management on employee engagement. |
