| Introduction | I am finishing up my thesis in Nanotechnology, working on the production of nanoparticles by a fairly novel method. Classic impossible problem: Atomising material requires vacuum, and liquids can't exist in vacuum. So we make a vacuum and then shoot a liquid through it while atomising material. Fun stuff. When I'm not writing, analysing data, troubleshooting lab equipment, playing computer games or eating, I've been known to have a good think on occasion. |
