| Introduction | I am a self-directed investor. I retired from a non-financial career in 2005. I joined VIC in 2006 (surf1680), and passed the third CFA exam in 2007. Currently, I teach a CFA review course in Southern Califonia on a part-time basis. As of Dec. 31, 2009, my 7 VIC submissions have an average total return of 18.3% vs. -5.2% for the SP500 and -3.2% for the R2k. My overall portfolio performance, including cash, has averaged 11.3% per year since 2003, after-tax basis. This blog is for entertainment purposes only. |
