Introduction	I envied the photos of east coasters vacationing on a yacht, not too far from a giant New England Style cottage on the beach. I know, I know, this is not the reality of most people living on the east coast, but it is fun to imagine and just so glamourous! I desperately wanted to feel any bit of fabulous that those pictures eluded. I found great blogs about preppy styles, but the bloggers seemed to have an endless supply of money for all things fashion (seems legit with their yachts and 5,000 sq/ft coastal vacation homes. I kid, I kid.). It came down to the fact that it was not in my budget to shop exclusively at J Crew, Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch. So this is my mission to bring that sophisticated fabulousness to those who also need to buy food and pay a mortgage with their income. Its not a crime to fool strangers into believing your daddy is the CEO of a Fortune 500 company and you have a bottomless trust fund. Now excuse me while I get a perfect tan on this perfect yacht in my perfect bathing suit that is perfectly accessorized. (not, but a girl can dream)
