| Introduction | In the year 2009, many things happened.
Two of these things led to the start of this blog. First, in April, Jeremy proposed to Sarah, who replied, “Are you serious?” Fortunately, Sarah was able to overcome her shock, make a proper acceptance, and the two will be making it official in October. Fast forward to the first week of July, and Sarah has successfully purchased a new home. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a pool, and a weed jungle of their very own. As a result of these major, life-changing activities, Sarah decided to start a blog, so as to share the trials and tribulations of do-it-yourself home repair, wedding planning, owning a dog named Garlock, and the small moments in between. Who Are We? We are Jeremy, Sarah, Jeremy’s daughter Kali, Garlock the Wonder Dog (who also answers to Buddy, the Buddies, Bean, and Knucklehead, depending on the context), and Brooklyn the long-suffering cat (who doesn’t answer to any names, period). |
