Location the suburb of socal, missing the city of chicago, CA, United States
Introduction early 20s, female and with the exception of football, being single is probably my favorite competitive sport, baseball is pretty high on the rankings as well. i'm a girl stuck between a city (chicago) and the aesthetically pleasing yet substance lacking suburb of southern california. i've found that being slightly neurotic and a damn good time are two of the only things that transcend my geographical location. i have the unfortunate skill of being able to see things from different points of view, which is why i'm the rare breed: the wavy haired girl (read the first post in the archives for the explanation) and no, knowing better than to be neurotic doesn't make me any less neurotic. it just makes me even more neurotic over the fact that i've let someone with a penis affect my mindset for me to be neurotic in the first place.
Interests 80s music, college football, music in general, dance parties, attempting to think like the male population in order to calm down the drama i create in my head from thinking like the female that i am, fonts, graphic design, art from the impressionists forward, champagne cocktails, tapas dinners, cooking, making lemon bars, volunteering abroad, international politics, local politics, tall boys-actual boys not PBR, good beer, sleep, friends, family, good times in general, just like the movies moments, sex, big sunglasses, fashion while maintaining a sense of style, yoga, surf, the pacific ocean and the spectacular city of chicago.
Favorite Movies empire records, the little mermaid, the last kiss, garden state, the godfather trilogy, goodfellas, old school, anchorman, wedding crashers, girls just wanna have fun, breakfast at tiffany's, say anything, the lost city...
Favorite Music jack johnson, pete yorn, pink floyd, led zeppelin, the rolling stones, broken social scene, journey, 80s pop, sheryl crow, old tbs, death cab *preferably old*, coldplay, nirvana, stone temple pilots, red hot chili peppers, sublime, minus the bear, bloc party, third eye blind...i can go on forever so let's just put it as: pop, things of many decades along the rock persuasion and obnoxious music to dance to
Favorite Books catcher in the rye, it's not how good you are it's how good you want to be, a moveable feast, the great gatsby, the end of print, chick lit and coffee table books that i actually read
