| Introduction | I'm a Christian, a music lover, a husband, a father, a church youth worker, and a man. Not necessarily always in that order. The title of this blog relates to a song I once wrote which was based on the twin ideas of humans being dinosaurs -left to our own devices, we're doomed to extinction - and also orphans - Fatherless, parentless, in regards to our natural unredeemed state before the Father God of the New Testament. Being redeemed from this Orphanic Dinosaural state is both instantaneous and gradual - a bit like getting new shoes - they're on your feet, but you still have to wear 'em in. Anyway, my life has been a re-making of my identity through my submission to the power of God (or perhaps through the power of God to enable my submission) and these are some thoughts and stories about the world through this particular set of eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, heart and spirit. |
