| Introduction | Behind my name: Jed is derived from my son's; Dublin's taken from my middle name; AR's the initial of my first and last names. I'm legally single by choice, more than 3 decades of age. I was born in the northernmost part of Cebu Philippines. I used to be shy when I was little, thanks to our modest economic standing. My parents' decision to seek greener pastures in Manila had become an integral factor of my formative years. The urban way of living helped me develop my social skills and build my self-confidence. I'm a good speaker, competitive, deep thinker, impatient, sensitive, levelheaded and risk-taker. As a Piscean, I've mastered the art of swimming in opposite directions. I'm an achiever at a young age; but I lack consistency and can't sustain momentum. I could've been a politician, a novelist, an athlete, a sportswriter, a corporate executive. I currently work for a BPO company in Cebu City. It's been seven years since I moved away from my family in Manila and chose to settle down in the place of my first cry. Wherever life takes me, I shall continue to explore the enigma of human existence and persist to defy dogmas and traditions--all because of my oddity. |
