| Introduction | I presently reside in my hometown where we bought a house 8 years ago. After a few years of welding in a steel shop, I went back to school at a local state university. Originally I intended to major in Math Ed. but swayed to General Studies, where I could take a variety of classes, including news and feature writing, while working with the university newspaper. Since graduation, the job hunt has turned up fruitless and the thoughts of going back to welding loomed overhead as I set up this blog. Having sent numerous resumes to local businesses, the only reply I've received is from fast food restaurants. So, I've set out to blog about my experiences in this endeavor as I try to maintain a sustainable life for myself and my family as a college grad working fast food. |
