Introduction | My name is Melissa Harris. I grew up in a small town in Covington County, Alabama. I graduated from Red Level High School in 2003. I met my high school sweet heart, Dustin, in 2001 and we got married in March of 2004. We had our first child, D.J., in March of 2007. He is a very tender hearted child with a huge heart and loves Jesus. He loves sports and all things outdoors. We had our second child, Elizabeth, in April 2015. She is our angel sent from heaven and a dancing queen. She is also tender hearted and loves Jesus. She loves music, dancing and can't wait until she is old enough to cheer at her school. I am a licensed nurse, my husband is a full time Operations Supervisor for a large company and a full time Pastor of our church. This past January we made the decision that I would return home to be available to our children's school and sports schedules. But I have been working since I was 16 years old so I have decided since I like to write and enjoy social media, I would give blogging a try. I enjoy giving advice and helping people; being compassionate is one of my many characteristics. We own six dogs and a cat; yes, we love animals. |
