| Introduction | Hi my name is Rachel and I'm a Birth and Post Natal Doula. I am also a mother of 3 beautiful children aged 8,6 and 2. My doula experience comes from a passion for birth and a heart for mothers as well as birthing and caring for my own children. For the last 2 years I have supported pregnant and new mothers at the "Milky-bar Doula Support" drop in morning, where I love to make friends with mums (and beautiful babies) signposting them to local resources and providing up to date information on infant feeding, slings/ carriers, infant sleep issues, and cloth nappies (to name but a few). I have also had the honour of attending a friend and her husband during their first birth,and providing antenatal support for another couple. In the summer of 2009 I completed a doula course with "Developing Doulas" which is accredited by Doula UK. I am happy to support all births in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas and have a particular passion for homebirth.
