About me

Introduction We both have struggled with our weight and unhealthy habits throughout our lives. For the first four years of our marriage, we perpetuated these habits together, gaining "happy weight" and supporting each other in gradual weight gain. In the winter of 2006, we began a weight loss journey through the online Weight Watchers program. Being very faithful to ourselves and logging EVERYTHING we put into our mouth, after all if we cheated, we were only cheating ourselves, we gradually changed our weight and our habits from unhealthy to healthy. Since that time, we have run a full marathon, run multiple half marathons and rode multiple century bike rides. We love passing what we have learned about what healthy living can do to your life. We are both so much happier in our active lifestyles, and are healthier than we ever imagined! Our goal is to pay it forward to anyone who is willing to listen. That is the purpose of this blog, paying forward what we have been blessed with. We hope you enjoy it!
Interests We love to run during the cold seasons and bike during the hot seasons. We did our first triathlon in August 2011, so swimming is now part of our summer interests.
