IntroductionAlissa Firth-Eagland has curated more than thirty projects for organizations like Fado Performance Inc. in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (Toronto, CA), Helen Pitt Gallery (Vancouver, CA), Walter Phillips Gallery (Banff, CA) and The Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art (Helsinki, FI). Her writing has been published in Gareth Long: Second, Third, Fourth (Oakville Galleries, Oakville, CA) alongside essays by AA Bronson and Liam Gillick. Her publication projects have exhibited at Invisible Reading Room (Melbourne, AU), Botkyrka Konsthall (Stockholm, SE), Taxi Gallery (Cambridge, UK), RAM Foundation for the Arts (Rotterdam, NL), eyelevel Gallery (Halifax, CA), and YYZ Artists’ Outlet (Toronto, CA). In 2009 she was Curator-in-Residence at La Fonderie Darling (Montréal, CA); Sølyst Artist in Residency Centre (Jyderup, DE) and Nordic Artists’ Centre Dalsåsen (Dale, NO). She is working on Western Front: London Bureau for No Soul For Sale Festival of Independents marking the Tate’s 10th anniversary, and How to act in the public sphere, discussion and publication between Bruce High Quality Foundation (New York, US) and Claire Fontaine (Paris, FR).
