Introduction I started my culinary antics since I could reach the sink and stove. As a working mother, Mum was always all too happy to have me make dinner. I recall removing bean sprout roots as young as four, and whipping up entire dinners for my family of five by the time I was ten. And scaling fish too! By 18, I was affectionately called "Mad Cook" by some very loving friends. How flattering for little ordinary me! I'm usually clad in a sleeveless T and shorts, wandering around the wet market near my HDB flat. I'm often asked "What style of cooking do you do?. It's simply uncategorizable!. How do you categorize foods like coconut mustard seed prawn; squid in lemongrass mayonnaise; lemon balm pork chops with apricot chutney; lamb with toffee sauce; konnyaku salad... etc!? In any case, I'm blessed with an endless "supply" of guinea pigs who come to our home as guests. Hubby has a big and full wine fridge so we always sedate them before the experiments! ;)
