| Introduction | I love old bikes. I've owned a new one, and it was great, but there's something special about riding and working on the old ones. This is a site about the adventure of owning, riding, wrenching and "spiffing up" an old beemer. I'm no expert and there will be plenty of purists and perfectionists who will feel obligated to share their advice with me...but I'm after the adventure of bug-in-the-tooth fun even if it's bailing wire and duct tape that gets me down the road.
