Introduction	I am a pretty-near-forty stay at home mom of 7 kiddos, but before that I was a singer, a writer, a bartender, a teacher, and a missionary. I find that all the jobs I had before help me in some way in this massive undertaking we call parenthood. Thankfully, I have entered this phase of my life with my super wonderful, calming, even-tempered husband who somehow makes me a calmer more even tempered mother. Life is messy, and hard, and loud (especially at my house) and I can't relate with the people who have pretty blogs and keep it all together, but I do love to talk about the messy parts of life that make it worth living, and I hope to encourage my readers to hang in there, see the humor in life and thank God for all the little blessings along the way.
