| Introduction | I love in NC with my wife Megan and two Viszlas.... Sammy and Stella. I have no formal training. I've never swam, biked or run competivly in my life (excluding a couple local community running races). I turned to triathlons in 2006 when I was going through a rough spot in my life. At the time I was thankful for the structure and distraction it provided me and now I am addicted to the life style. I am entering my fouth season of triathlon after a third year plagued with injuries, trials, tribulation and triumphs. Last year has made me mentally tougher and more determined than ever to go faster! This blog is a look into how I balance my military and family obligations with my desire to push myself harder than ever before. |
