| Introduction | I was born in Columbus, Ohio and my family moved to the Dayton, Ohio area when I was 14. I graduated from Miami University in 1970 with a B.S. degree in Radio-Television. I received an M.A. degree in Communication from the University of Kentucky in 1974. I worked in Public TV production in Kentucky and Indiana before returning to Ohio in 1975 to produce instructional videos and public television programs for The University of Akron and Channels 45/49. I also have been a reporter for Crain Communications and Sun Newspapers in Cleveland. I returned to UA in 2001 and as a multimedia producer and I’ve taught media production and communication courses in UA’s School of Communication for more than 30 years. I plan to continue as a freelance writer and independent media producer for the foreseeable future and I hope you enjoy this blog. |
