| Introduction | I would love to say I'm the next Rachel Ray or Martha Stewart. But I tend to burn my pancakes and always overcook my noodles. I am an overachieving procrastinator and love my crazy, busy life. I am married to the most patient guy, have 3 kids and whomever said, "boys are easier" is smoking something, because mine is the devil's advocate, (and this "passing phase" doesn't seem to be passing very quickly....) My oldest has special needs but is the sunshine of our lives. I work 4 days a week, as an RN at a busy hospital. I go to school part-time, hoping to eventually get my Master’s degree. I chair the "Step Forward to Cure Tuberous Sclerosis Complex" 5k walk and am on the board of "Kylie's Hope", a non-profit my husband and I started this past year, benefiting the families of children on the pediatric epilepsy unit. I talk too much, laugh a lot and cannot stand when people use the "R" word. I am passionate about the people I love, believe in God and tend to drop the F bomb on occasion. Or two. |
