| Introduction | Checkum' is how I am known to my Sistahs who are also warriors fighting the disease of Breast Cancer. I was Diagnosed on 9/15/2008. Finished my Chemo in January, 2009. Mastectomy in Feb/2009 w/tissue expander and a Lat Flap recon. Tissue Exp removed in August/2009. Then revision surgery for encapsulation in January/2010. Completed the phase III trials for Zometa in November, 2011. If you know me, you know that I am a Survivor. I have just started to feel human again after the ordeal with Breast Cancer and every day is a day to "LIVE & ENJOY"! My favorite quote "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" |
