| Introduction | My journey as a trader has been typical with quick success followed by account blowup, followed by quest for the elusive strategy or the holy grail indicator until the aha moment that trading is a very personal endeavor and success is more attributed to my own psyche and how I deal with money. Began with retail FX in 2004 followed by stocks in 2006. Plunged into trading futures since 2011 mostly trading SP 500 index futures. I work a full time job as a software engineer and hence can only do scalping when opportunity presents. I plan to automate my strategies in the near future so I can participate more actively. |
