| Introduction | I'm the proud mom of two awesome children and the lucky wife of a devoted man of 25 years. Caitlin is 23 and living an exciting life that she created and loves in Portland, Oregon. She works as lead teller at a credit union and is taking classes at Portland State towards a degree in business/finance. Alex is almost 21 and recently spent a 10 months stint in Americorp. It was there he found his calling and is currently in school to become a firefighter. He hopes to join his sister in Oregon when we depart for South America. He loves outdoor sports and has his sights set on becoming a forest and wildland firefighter. My life partner, Clarke, is my soulmate, playmate and best friend. We have weathered many storms together and he's still my 'rock'. I'm so fortunate our paths crossed on the front row of Carolyn Whitcher's class so many years ago. He is the most honest, ethical and funniest man I have ever known. I have returned to school after 20 years of working in the field of deafness and disability to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I hope to use my skills on a volunteer (and part time!) basis in South America. |
