Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No. I believe that since the spoon is the more highly evolved implement, the fork is prehistoric. The tines began growing together (because of the lack of gravy in some pre-historic diets- it kept falling through the tines), and eventually we have the spoon. The spoon evolved further, though. That's how we get chopsticks. They're at the top of the implement chain.
