| Introduction | I was diagnosed with "Bipolar Disorder II Rapid Cycling" 5 years ago now. For those who don't know what that means stay tuned in because you'll soon understand but as a summary it means that I suffer from severe debilitating depression and hypomania which, for me, means increased energy, rapid thoughts, sleeplessness and lack of inhibitions. Rapid Cycling means that I go from one extreme to the other very quickly and have more than 4 episodes in a year. I am on medication, 800mg Lithium, 300mg Quetiapine and 1000mg Carbamazepine. I am unable to work. I am an Atheist. I have no strong political belief. I am going through a divorce at the moment and I live with my boyfriend. |
| Interests | Films, Films, Films. Before my illness got worse I was very involved in the theatre. |
| Favorite movies | Films are the only things that I enjoy all the time. Naming a Favourite or even a number is difficult but I do enjoy The Truman Show, Moulin Rouge and Kill Bill for fun entertainment. Shawshank Redemption, Schindlers List, The Pianist, Memento, American History X for something more challenging. Garden State, Fargo, Hudsucker Proxy, Mallrats, Dogma, Zoolander for comedy. Love Actually for romance. The Great Escape, Roman Holiday, Rear Window for some older classics. The list goes on. I own approx. 800 dvds. |
| Favorite music | Anything that isn't pop or dance, garage, drum n bass etc. Love blues, rock, alternative, some metal, some jazz, classics... |
| Favorite books | Favourite book of all time is 1984, I also like Stephen King books, the Dexter series, the Harry Potter books... |
