Introduction | One of my big regrets is not staying in Camp Fire Girls. I want to challenge myself to go through the Handbook and see if I can accomplish what I might have as a young girl. The Handbook lists "Native American" names(I don't know if that's true). I have chosen the names Tawanka and Iyopta. Tawanka means "willing to try." Iyopta means "to go on or to make progress." That's appropriate for who I am today. As a child I had a very difficult time choosing a name. Sadly, I didn't know who I was then. |
