Introduction	i am a middle aged american ex-pat living in Sweden, having moved here for LOVE- what else- and am trying to find out precisely WHY God decided to put me on this path in life. Is it to find the meaning of life? to find my soul? to de-tox from 25 years as a clothing designer in New York City? I'm not quite sure and more often than not, my days here in sweden are met with skepticism, sarcasm, and at least a good healthy dose of self-doubt, followed by little affirmations here and there that let me know that there's a plan here to get me to ultimately come to know myself and my place in this world. No small package for a 47 year old. Shouldn't I understand all this by now? Or is it just a very long middle-aged crisis!? ah, hah!...now, it's just beginning to make some sense!...
