Introduction Amanda grew up in Bethlehem, CT. She graduated in May of 2018 from Northern Vermont University-Johnson campus in Johnson, Vermont. She now has a B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Analysis and Assessment, a B.S. in Wellness and Alternative Medicine, and a Chemistry Minor. Less than two months after graduating she received a job offer from an environmental consulting company in Colchester, Vermont. She worked for five months as a Staff Scientist at Fitzgerald Environmental Associates (FEA) LLC. FEA assists with a variety of storm water and river restoration projects. Amanda’s primary responsibilities included conducting road erosion inventories in Southern Vermont, assistance with field surveys throughout Vermont and New York, and stream flow monitoring. She is very excited to pursue her passions in life and establish herself as a scientist. She is currently looking for a new job and is open to new opportunities and location(s).
