Introduction Amanda grew up in Bethlehem, CT, but recently graduated (May 2018) from Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont. She now has a B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Analysis and Assessment, a B.S. in Wellness and Alternative Medicine, and a Chemistry Minor. Less than two months after graduating she received a job offer in Vermont. She was a Staff Scientist at Fitzgerald Environmental Associates (FEA) LLC for five months. FEA assists with a variety of storm water and river restoration projects. Amanda’s primary responsibilities included conducting road erosion inventories in Southern Vermont, assistance with field surveys throughout Vermont and New York, and stream flow monitoring. She is very excited to pursue her passions in life and establish herself as a scientist. She is currently looking for a new job and is open to new opportunities and location(s).
