| Introduction | I'm an incurably romantic lady of a certain age who designs clothing, accessories, embroidery and applique, custom garments, jewelry, and unique personal paper dolls. My designs are always pretty, sometimes witty, always upbeat, and never cynical. A fair description of me, although in this case "pretty" describes the things I love to have around me. I believe in meeting the world with a positive attitude, a sense of humor, self-confidence, and an appreciation for what I've been given. I also write: poetry, essays, stories, and am working on a novel. I love learning: new skills, new approaches, new ideas. My background includes teaching, social work, and design. I've been married to a wonderful man for 44 years. We have two grown children and two grandsons. To keep us company, we have a cat and a dog. |
