| Introduction | I am a first grade teacher at a private school in Corona del Mar, California and I have been teaching first grade for 33 years. I am married with three daughters and I have six grandchildren. I am very passionate about animals and I have made trips to Belize, Kenya, and Rwanda to observe many different animals in their natural habitats. I have then brought that knowledge and experience back into my classroom. My class also observes a webcam that is located at a watering hole in Botswana. My children have learned to identify and record the daily behaviors of these observed animals. My goal for my students is to instill a love for animals and a willingness to preserve their existence. |
