| Introduction | Born and raised in Michigan, USA. Married and moved to Guatemala 14 years ago. I currently teacher health science at a private school in Guatemala City. On October 31, 2009 (no trick just a treat) I bought myself an awesome 2008 black YS250 Yamaha motorcycle second hand with 5,600 kilometers. I later found out that there are only about 16 other bikes similar to mine in Guate. I am enjoying the stares, nods and questions about the bike! My 4 children were suprised when I showed up on the bike claiming it was mine. So...come early any Sunday morning my husband, who rides a 1990 Suzuki 650, and I will be heading for mountain roads and free riding. In March 2010 we celebrated 20 years with a bike trip to Antigua, Guatemala. Summer 2010 will offer me my first long cross country(s)adventure from Guate to California and back, I hope! My baby currently has 13,000 kilometer..but soon to change! |
