| Introduction | Hi Everyone! I am a PhD student in Criminology at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. My PhD focuses on the current situation in Canadian penal policy. I feel the need to inform everyone about changes in crime, politics and cultural events happening around the world as these affect our views, environments, and personalities. Every little bit of information about events that change our surroundings are essential for everyday life, I hope to increase awareness of important issues such as criminal legislation, political debates and changes in cultural standards such as poverty and homelessness.
