Introduction Born in Turkey, childhood in Japan, the rest in the US of A. with the occasional jaunt outside the country. Married (happily), Mom (yeah, that's happily too) digs being green, reading manga, watching anime and loads of Asian dramas. Passionate about my family, unschooling/life-long learning, animals, the planet, Qigong, eating local, making a positive difference. My husband is a fledgling vegetarian, my teen-aged kids are 99.99% vegan, I'm somewhere in-between. Three of us don't eat eggs and only use dairy products from animals we know personally.

Favorite Books Tanak! As well as a gigantic pile of manga.

You're in the grocery store with a broken cart. How will you ever be that hungry?

I *never* get the broken trolley. I will stalk the trolley return before I will shop with a broken one. If in a pinch, I can put my groceries in my re-usable shopping bags.
