Introduction	oh, let me just quickly explain the blog title. it's pretty darn descriptive of my life. i live on this awesome farm in this awesome house and everything is comfy and beautiful. but it's also very very real. the pastoral part refers, not to all things of and related to being a pastor (or a pk, for that matter) but pastoral, as in the adjective that describes pastoralists-those who herd livestock around pastures. additionally, it refers to literature, art or music that depicts such agrarian life in an idealized manner. and then there's the dung pile part. yeah. that's just pretty much the rest of life. but it all works together to make the grass green and the scenery pretty.
