| Introduction | I am a mom. I am daughter. I am a sister, an aunt, a niece, a cousin and a friend. I was blessed with a family that loves me unconditionally. I love unconditionally. I am a professional. I am a Bobcat. I am a mentor. I am a volunteer. I am a reader, a swimmer, a runner, a hard worker, a learner, a risk taker, a proud American citizen. I have Crohn's Disease. I am NOT Crohns disease. I am one of the luckiest, most blessed people I know, and I thank God for every experience I've had to this point in my ife. I want to share everything I have in an effort to make the journey for others with IBD just a little more simple and maybe a little more rewarding. Life is good. My goal - raise over $5,000 to support Crohn's and Colitis research, to bring awareness about IBD to the ordinary person, and to be an example for people who are just being diagnosed with these life-altering diseases. There will be tough times, but learning to live with Crohns is a process that has brought me many, many gifts. You're not alone. |
