Introduction | Growing up in an uncomplicated yet orthodox family I had thought that everything was sorted and clear; had well defined and flawless religious and social practices; knew the meaning of the word 'perfection'; comprehended God and the well cutout path to Him. Occasionally, only for grave reasons, folks moved out from this bubble only to return back lest it all be lost. Then this happened. As though in a spell, I left home, hearing the words of a wanderer-swamiji Dayanand. I travelled beyond my home-state; encountered another wanderer from Assisi; and began to know afresh and appreciate the Palestinian Wanderer. In the given, well-defined institution where I now spend my life I am not only guiltless but am glad to slip to a pathless intellectual, social and geographical journey (wandering). Wandering is the path to inclusivity. It’s no wonder that all my inspirational wanderers arrived at this point –INCLUSIVITY. In the process perhaps they also had glimpses of perfection and God. |
