Introduction	I grew up in a little town between Tucson, Arizona, and the Mexican border called St. David. I attended the University of Arizona, majoring in Computer Engineering until a friend and I started a computer consulting company that I stayed with for over 6 years. I then worked for a collaboration software company for 3 years with my good friend Sheridan Richey, until we both jumped ship and came to work for AdvancedMD. Sheridan and I collaborated on a radical new browser-based architecture that has recently been christened "AJAX". The software provided by AdvancedMD is based entirely on that architecture, and has enabled an equally radical business model...one that has proven amazingly successful.
