| Introduction | I am a 23-year-old wife, daughter, sister, student and mother to one very cute dog! I am currently working on my Master's degree in Social Work and hope to do therapy in the future. I met my husband, Zach, when I was 19 years old and he had me hooked after our first date at the coin Laundromat in my hometown. He is the reason for the smile on my face, my strength, faith, and drive to succeed. Our little family consists of the two of us and our four-legged bundle of joy - Duke. We are eager to expand our family (with a two-legged bundle of joy), but we have a lot of student loans to pay off first! The main reason why I decided to start my first blog is because my husband and I are getting ready to move to Western Kansas in May of 2013 - so this is a way to keep my Eastern Kansas family informed as to what is new in our lives. As Zach and I are getting ready to graduate, develop into our professional lives, and move away we have many "first's" that are coming our way. | Interests | I enjoy learning, writing, music, exercise, family, and friends. I love watching the seasons change, but fall is my favorite. I don't think that there is anything better than watching the trees change colors, the days get cooler, the smell of homemade pumpkin pie and warm apple cider candles, a comfy sweater and scarf, pumpkins, cheesy halloween decorations, soup for every meal, and of course...football. Although I love going out, doing things, and being around people, I also love snuggling up with one of my mom's quilts, a warm cup of tea, a little John Mayer on the radio, and watching a Friday night fade away. |
