Occupation Paper Artist
Location Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago
Introduction I am a retired Social Worker, mother of two beautiful daughters. I returned to Trinidad after spending many years in Montreal, Canada. Because of my interest in environmental issues i became involved in recycling discarded junk paper into decorative handmade papers. I now create workshops for adults and children, demonstrating the hand paper making process and showing the importance of using tree free papers which can cut back on the demolition of trees which are very important to our environment. I create household decorative and personal items such as jewellry all made from paper.
Interests Reading, music, especially calypso, community activism, and environmental issues, mainly the effects of climate change.
Favorite Movies I do not have a special movie, but I do enjoy a good romantic comedy.
Favorite Music Calypso, and music of Ella Fitzgerald, and many of the old jazz singers.
Favorite Books Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, books by Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, Samuel Selvon, Langston Huges, Michael Anthony, most of our West Indies writers. I also enjoy many of Maeve Binchy novels, find quite refreshing.

The love potion you made tastes terrible. How will you drink it?
