About me

Location Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Introduction My career began with Kuwait Airways in Beirut, Lebabon. I managed a team of flight attendants. This was a super experience! I worked with people of all nationalities and learnt about different cultures and the importance of equality and justice for all. It was fun but I eventually wanted to visit a land with more rain and trees! Off I went to Australia, where the sand is on beautiful beaches. I joined Australian Airlines, later called Qantas Airways, and continued to work with flight attendants. I also continued to improve myself by studying for my MBA. In 2001, I left Qantas and the airline industry. Once I overcame my fear of change, I returned to college and studied English teaching to adults. Then it was off to my new home: Malaysia. I worked in Erican Language Centres as a teacher then General Manager and Academic Director. It was a remarkable time for me! In 2006, Eric Chong and I founded Erican Corporate Training, providing companies and organisations with skills and language training. My friends say ‘slow down’ but for me, work is not separate from ‘life’. If one does not enjoy one’s work, then days of ‘life’ are wasted!
