| Introduction | I am a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary by education. Professionally I have worked in the Finance functions of a number of multinational companies over the last 20 + years: Arthur Andersen, Xerox, PepsiCo India, Telstra, Citibank and till recently with SCB (last 2 jobs at Singapore). My last position with SCB was as the CFO for their Consumer Bank's Risk function-a role I loved thoroughly, especially since it was in Singapore, my preferred place on the planet. I presently work in Mumbai for a Singapore based Retail and Rural Finance company. This site is purely a way for me to channelize and communicate my personal views and experiences on investment in Indian equity and do not reflect those of the organizations in which I have worked/ work. |
