| Introduction | I live on a 10 acre Gold Coast Hinterland property in a renovated Queenslander Cottage with my Husband of 30 years and our two Blue Heeler dogs. We share the acerage with my sister and her husband, who also live in a beautiful Queenslander home. Whenever I am out and about I stop (husband permitting, ha ha) at as many op shops and garage sales as possible. I love finding treasures to add to one of my many collections. I collect mainly, but not exclusively, Australiana Kitchenalia, Vintage Material and Bric a Brac. My style is very eclectic, Art Deco to Retro I just love beautiful looking things. I try to use everything I buy either in it's original state, or I'll re-invent it, give it a new life as something it didn't start out as. When I'm not op-shopping or crafting you can normally find me in the garden or kitchen. I grow alot of our own fruits, avocardos, mangoes, custard apple, mandarin, lime, grapefruit, mulberry just to name some. I also grow our own vegetables and herbs. I seem to have more luck with the herbs than vegetables. Of course I grow the red hot chillies I need to make the Mazavaroo Chilli paste. |
