| Introduction | The RiverWinds Community Center is West Deptford Township's crown jewel and the premier recreation facility in all of Southern New Jersey. Amenities at the Community Center include a state-of-the-art fitness center with a wide variety of cardiovascular and free weight equipment, aerobics studio, spinning room, and 1/7 mile indoor track surrounding the fitness floor. For the fitness enthusiast, we offer a multitude of fitness classes ideal for the beginner exerciser through the advanced athletes. A two story, 28 foot rock wall overlooks much of the facility with routes of varying difficulty, and two beautiful gymnasiums that support both volleyball and basketball are available with adjustable nets. A wrestling room, adjacent to the gyms, hosts karate and other programs. Our aquatic facility is beyond compare. An eight lane, 25 yard competition Lap Pool opens starting at 6:00 a.m. Water exercise classes and swim lessons are also available. Our Leisure Pool boasts a zero-depth area perfect for young families, with current channel, vortex, waterworks, and a two-story water slide. A hot tub and steam room provide a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the day. |
