About me

Introduction	I am a 20 something year old college student by day/waitress by night with an intense passion for horses. I've only been riding for 3-4 years now in the hunter/jumper/whatever-the-heck-equitation-is discipline. I own two horses: Rhythm, a retired 23 year old bay TB mare, and Bombay, my brand new five year old grey OTTB mare. As someone who already has anti-social tendencies, I've had a rough induction into the horse community but as many times as I've curled up in the corner of a stall and cried my heart out I can't seem to break away from it. Horse people can be very judgmental (and I don't just mean about your sloppy performance in last Saturday's show). There are a few whom I feel comfortable approaching for advice but for the most part I've relied on books, trial and error, and many many late nights searching the internet for answers to my horse problems. This blog is (or will be) my outlet for the things that frustrate me in my beloved horse universe as well as a storehouse of the solutions and methods that I have found work for my horses and for me as a rider.
