Introduction	Anhad Films was set up in 2008 with the motive of encouraging the production of purposeful cinema by a group of dedicated film makers who saw films as a catalyst to social change. 'Anhad' which literally means boundless or limitless, correctly reflects upon our ideology which is to create purposeful films, while setting new frontiers and encouraging fresh approach and creativity in film making. We at Anhad Films believe in thinking out of the box and trying out new and different ideas. The mainstream has continuously been ignoring the oppressed and marginalized as a result they have no platform to voice their concerns. This neglection of a large number of our population by our media made us come together and work on issues that are the real concerns of our country. We at Anhad Films aims at making films that can be used to fight stereotypes and social bondages that exist around us. It is our belief that the aim of cinema is not only to entertain but also to bring about a change in society. We believe that films can help in changing attitudes and make a difference, no matter how big or small it is.
