Introduction We moved our family from Atlanta to Hungary in 2002 so we could be in a better position to use our abilities to serve the work of the gospel in Europe and hopefully the Middle East and Asia. Our children love living here, especially now as this is where home and friends are. EB and I think it is a privilege to raise our kids in a foreign country. Budapest is an expensive place to live but EB and I love the culture and romance of the city.
Interests My family, missions, the global cause of Christ, helping American Christians making wise and eternal investment decisions with the abundance we have been given, history, running, reading, music, movies, conservative talk radio (have you heard Dennis Miller's show yet?), and most important: trying to grasp Jesus Christ and His love for mankind
Favorite Movies Signs continues to be my favorite movie both as a thriller and because of the spiritual journey that Mel Gibson's character walks, Narnia, Walk the Line, O Brother Where Art Thou, School of Rock, The Bourne Identity Triology, Saving Private Ryan, The Passion, and even though I don't like fantasy The Lord of the Rings Triology.
Favorite Music U2, Switchfoot, Jars of Clay, anything Bill Mallonnee did with the Vigilantes of Love in the 1990s, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, the most recent Red Hot Chili Peppers (Stadium Aracadium), these all receive continual play on my ipod.
Favorite Books John Piper "Let the Nations Be Glad", McCollugh's "John Adams", Stephen Ambrose's "D-Day" and "Undaunted Courage", "Millionaire Next Door", "Endurance" about Shackleton's journey to the South Pole, Gary Thomas' "Sacred Marriage", Henry Cloud's "Boundaries for Kids", "Last Battle" by C.S. Lewis, the many texts I have read in my seminary classes, John MacArthur's New Testament Commentaries
