Introduction	June bugs were a part of life growing up in the north woods of Wisconsin. I well remember Sunday and Wednesday evenings during the month of June, standing outside the little country church we attended and watching the june bugs swarm by the hundreds around the outdoor lights. My birthday was in June, and my friends teased me mercilessly about gathering up a jarful of those bugs and giving them to me for my birthday. I am a registered nurse working night shifts full time at our local hospital. I have a supportive husband of 28 years, 3 wonderful sons, 3 lovely daughters-in-law, and 2 gorgeous granddaughters!
