| Introduction | I have a B.S. ElEd from 1984 - YES - 24 years ago - from Bloomsburg University of PA. My husband passed away in Dec. 2006 from diabetes complications. I have 23 year-old identical twin daughters at WVU (sorry FSU) and a 16 year-old daughter in 11th grade that I haven't decided if she's trying to "keep me young" or "age me faster" these days - LOL! My most recent teaching experience was in PA teaching grades 6,7,8 Remedial Reading on emergency certificate. I transferred my PA certificate to WV upon moving to WV and am now trying to "join the ranks" of graduate school. Wow, 3 grad. students in one house at a time - yikes!! |
| Interests | My foremost interest is my family and God. However, at the moment this blog I'm designing for a graduate class is becoming a very close second place. I very much enjoy making this blog, but am paranoid at messing up!! LOL!! I also enjoy piano, singing, current events, athletic events, learning, and usually whatever life has to offer at the moment! |
| Favorite movies | The most recent movie that I've viewed and actually felt it had some meaning/thought is "Rent". I also love the movies "Sound of Music", "Mary Poppins", "Air Bud" movies, "Bring It On" movies, "Polar Express", most anything but horror/violence/bloody movies |
| Favorite music | Music is a big part of my life! I enjoy most any music except Rap and LOUD Rock 'n Roll songs. |
| Favorite books | "My Grandfather's Blessings", "The Notebook", "Goodnight Moon", and of course any Dr. Seuss books. |
